We were given tickets to the Fullerton Civic Light Opera production of Grease. The musical is barely recognizable as the same story as the movie with John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John. There are a few common songs, and many different ones. It also seemed to be a lot more racy than the film, for a large part of the show a couple on stage was locked in a passionate embrace.  It surprised me how many people brought young children to the show, many of these young girls dressed in Pink Lady costumes. For a community theater production I thought the show was good, the acting and singing were decent. An interesting comment on the FCLO, tickets are nearly as expensive as the Pantages.
